Who We’re Looking For

Do you take pride in getting every job right the first time? Do you enjoy clean, precise work and leading by example? If so, you might be exactly who we’re after.

You’ll need:

  • A current driver’s licence (essential).

  • An Electrical trade certificate (essential).

  • 1+ year of solar experience or 2+ years of residential electrical experience.

  • A great attitude and willingness to upskill in the latest tech.

  • CEC accreditation (or a willingness to obtain it).

Your Day-to-Day

  • Complete solar and battery installations with precision and pride.

  • Load and prepare stock, hang inverters, commission systems, and guide customers through their new setup.

  • Carry out residential maintenance, switchboard work, and air conditioning installs.

  • Troubleshoot faults and ensure every site meets electrical safety standards.

  • Use mobile apps for job management, safety, and commissioning.

  • Work alongside a professional crew that values efficiency and craftsmanship.

About the Role

Prestige Renewables is seeking a highly capable and adaptable Office Manager to oversee our daily operations in Cairns. In this critical role, you will be the linchpin of our administrative, scheduling, and operational workflows. Given the fast-paced nature of the Queensland solar sector, this position requires a professional who thrives under pressure, understands technical industry nuances, and can seamlessly coordinate between field electricians, management, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage daily office operations to ensure peak efficiency.

  • Contribute to the planning and review of office services, and setting priorities and office service standards

  • Allocate human resources, space and equipment

  • Assign work to and monitoring work performance of staff

  • Manage records and accounts of the office

  • Coordinate personnel activities such as hiring, promotions, performance management, payroll, training and supervision

  • Coordinate complex scheduling, dispatching, and communication with field electricians.

  • Manage and maintain all customer and project data utilising My New Admin CRM software.

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

  • Act as a central point of contact for internal staff and external stakeholders, utilising a strong understanding of QLD solar compliance and terminology.

  • Adapt to fluid operational demands, managing urgent matters outside standard business hours.

  • Ensure work complies with relevant government legislation, policies and procedures

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Please note that the following requirements are strict. Applicants who do not meet all criteria will not be considered.

  • Educational Background: A University Degree, ideally in Business, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline.

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 1 year of direct experience working within the solar industry, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of technical solar terminology.

  • Software Proficiency: Prior, hands-on experience utilising My New Admin CRM software is an absolute requirement.

  • Trade Coordination: Proven experience working alongside and coordinating with qualified electricians.

  • Market Knowledge: A strong, localised understanding of the solar industry landscape specifically within Queensland.

  • Availability & Flexibility: Must have the unrestricted ability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends as operational needs dictate.
